1. Using the Jaguar Classic Parts Catalogue

Using the Jaguar Classic Parts Catalogue
Browsing the interactive catalogues, Special Offers, News and Events and other information contained within the web site, is entirely free and you can back out at any time. Should you decide to proceed and place an order, then you will need to register at the point of checking out or, you will need to log in, if you are a returning customer. Orders can be cancelled prior to despatch, using the 'My Account' section, as long as the order has not already been marked as 'complete'.

For Technical reasons, there may not always be a price against an item. Where there is no price shown, you will not be allowed to add that particular item to the Shopping Cart. If you want to know about that part, please use the 'Contact Us' link to the e-mail enquiry form. Furthermore, if you cannot find what you are looking for, or you have any Technical queries, please send a direct enquiry using the e-mail link within the 'Contact Us' area or via the parts catalogue 'Contact Us' link.

To simply browse the information guide or to make a request for an order, follow these steps:

Step 1.
At the point of entry to www.jaguarclassicparts.com, choose your Country/Delivery option:

  • 'UK Flag' to select parts retail prices shown in Pounds Sterling, where parts can be delivered direct to your door or for collection from your UK Jaguar Retailer, Parts department. Prices do not include tax.
  • 'German' & 'Australian' flags, will display prices in the local currency and only Jaguar Retailer Collection is allowed. Prices do not include tax.
  • 'French' & 'Spanish' options will display prices in the local currency but will allow a choice between direct shipment and retailer collection. If direct shipment is selected, prices will revert to pounds Stirling. Prices do not include tax.
  • 'Other Country' is a default selection for all countries, including those mentioned above, with 'Direct Delivery' (mail order) option only and prices are shown in pounds Stirling. Prices do not include tax. This will be charged at the current UK VAT rate for all UK and EEC orders. Non-EEC orders will not be charged tax on direct exports.

Please note that delivery to your nearest Jaguar Retailer does not incur carriage or shipment charges. The Retailer will contact you as soon as the parts are ready for collection. Payment is made to the retailer at the time of collection. Failure to collect within 10 days of them notifying you will result in the order being cancelled.

Alternatively, if you choose Direct Delivery (Mail Order), Packaging and Carriage Charges are extra to the price total for your order and depend on the size, weight and shipping destination. This cost can be advised prior to shipping, if requested. These goods are shipped from one of our designated Jaguar Authorised Agents.

Step 2.
Once your country is selected, you are taken to the Model Catalogue pages where you select your vehicle. Once selected, the main parts category menu is visible. Each catalogue is divided into sub-sections, each sub-section is also divided into specific parts groups and then more detailed parts descriptions. These final sub-sections will cover every aspect of your specific vehicle model, with illustrations for assemblies showing components and parts listings showing part numbers, description, part number supersessions and vehicle application guides.
At that point you can:

  • Identify what you want
  • Leave and browse elsewhere by using the various drop-down options
  • Add the item to your shopping cart, by clicking on the 'Shopping Basket' icon
  • If you have a printer connected, then you can also print the illustration and the details.

In some places a description only may be listed without a reference image.

Step 3.
At any point in the process you can use the 'Help' or 'Contact Us' options, to make a direct enquiry if you cannot find what you are looking for, or require technical or parts information. Also, to help you find an illustration or parts listing for a specific item more quickly, you can type a description or part number in the search textbox and press Enter or click 'GO'. You can add any part, with a visible price, to the Shopping Cart

3. How do I register?
You can either register by clicking the 'login and Register' link at the bottom of the page or you will be automatically prompted when you progress through the checkout process. Please ensure you create a password that is memorable and contains at least 6 letters and at least 1 number. You should NOT use any special characters, such as: " ' # / ; : ! - etc... Otherwise this will prompt an error message and registration will not be allowed to progress.

4. What am I registering for?
If you are a first time user, you will be asked to register at the checkout, or you can register beforehand. The information requested will be stored by Jaguar Classic Parts only, for your convenience when placing future orders. There will be no need to input all your details again. There is no cost involved. You will also receive frequent parts and offers news, via e-mail, unless you 'opt out' during registration.

5. How can I pay?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Maestro and Solo. When you are paying for your order, you will be prompted to enter your credit card number for payment. This information is not stored and will need to be input for each and every order. Payment at point of order is only required for Direct Deliveries. Retailer collection orders are paid for when collection is made and must be paid direct to the Jaguar Retailer.

6. Is it safe to use my credit card?
We guarantee that every transaction you make at Jaguar Classic Parts will be 100 percent safe. The web site is secure as soon as you log-in or register. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your card as a result of shopping with Jaguar Classic Parts.

7. What about your returns policy?
Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return any item, in its original condition, with all tags still attached and in its original packaging, for a full refund. Please note that we can process returns and refunds only for items purchased from Jaguar Classic Parts. Return costs, on any part supplied correctly by Jaguar Classic Parts, will be at the expense of the purchaser. Any parts returned out of the stated date range, after prior agreement with Jaguar Classic Parts, will be liable for a 20% handling charge.

8. How do I track my order?

10. What is the Supersession icon, next to a part number?
This indicates that a part number has superceded to a new number. By clicking on the icon, the relevant information will be displayed.

11. What is a VIN number?
The VIN number is the Vehicle Identification Number of your car. This is found on the Vehicle Registration Document or on the car itself. This information is specific to your vehicle and helps identify part changes on models and helps us answer your enquiries more quickly.

12. What does 'Contact Us' mean?

'Contact Us' is a link to a free text e-mail facility, where you can send a question/enquiry/technical request, to Jaguar Classic Parts. 'Contact Us', can have a variety of meanings, as to why you cannot order a part at that time:

13. What are the quantities, in the boxes, next to the parts?
The quantities in the box on a parts line are set to the quantity required for that particular section of a vehicle. The quantity is only a suggestion and can be edited by the customer. NB. This is not the pack quantity.

Both organisations are part of Jaguar Cars Ltd. and work closely together to provide a unique service to all Jaguar Owners and Enthusiasts.

15. How do I use the Search Facility?
Simply type the part number, if known, or a one or two word description, or part thereof, and hit the 'GO' button.

16. What if a superseding part is not in the catalogue?

17. What if I forget my password?
While you are in the login screen, hit the 'Forgotten Password' link. You will be prompted for your e-mail (which is your login). Follow the instructions and a new password will be e-mailed to you. When you have logged in, you will be able to change the password to a more memorable one, via the 'My Account' facility.

18. Can enquiries in languages, other than English, be answered?
No, we cannot accommodate multilingual enquiries. All correspondence must be in English.

19. What happens with items that are in packed quantities?
It may be required to order in fixed multiples of any displayed item. In certain cases and sometimes for technical reasons, only minimum packaged quantities are available and therefore a pack size may contain more or less parts than are required for a single job.

20. Are prices and availability accurate at all times?
Prices are given as a guide for any item and do not include shipping or taxes. Items shown do not constitute an offer for sale at that price per packaged unit. Only the current price will be entered into, given at the time of order confirmation. The listing or illustration of any item does not guarantee availability. Stocks are accurate on a weekly basis, following data uploads.
